A library holds the key responsibility to cater to the needs of the students. Necessary support in the form of academic requirements such as resources for curricular supplementation. However orientation, motivation, social sensitization of students both from the academic and psycho-social perspectives is another noteworthy support which builds up the student into a self sufficient, confident and socially responsible human being. Being a mentor for developing the soft skills as well as indicating to career and job prospects or assisting  student progression is a vital issue a library can take care of. A student who utilizes the library facilities along with the classroom teaching gains the true potentiality in doing good academic results and be future ready.
  • Our endeavors are to provide complementary ambience to classroom teaching for satisfying the academic requirement of the students.
  • Our initiative is to provide updated learning infrastructure with maximum utilization of ICT.
  • Our pursuits are to provide support for holistic development of the students.
 Accomplishments:
  • Augment the teaching-learning process by adopting student encouragement techniques for effective use of the library.
  • Conduct Library extension and outreach activities.
  • Conduct Soft skill development programmes for developing Key skills required to help the students to build upon those skills to apply them in different settings for personal development and workplace.
  • Conduct “Library induction classes”for correlating the teaching process with the library usage of the students so that a completion in the cycle of academic input of the teachers is achieved.
  • Conduct “Library Interaction Sessions” to transform the ambience into a more student friendly and interactive space.
  • Enhance and inculcate the essential skills for original research among undergraduate level students.

  • Library Automated with KOHA Integrated Library Management Software.
  • The central library has over 15000 books.
  • Member of INFLIBNET NLIST for access to high quality e-resources (e-books and e-journals)
  • We aspire to create a more dynamic teaching–learning environment in the library.
  • The Central Library of the college has sufficient books for all Department.
  • LCD TV set, projectors and smart classrooms are deployed for different library programmes and activities.
